Tom Brennan was born the fifth of six children to an independent Baptist pastor in McDonald, Ohio. Saved and called to preach at the age of 14, he went off to Bible college after high school. After graduating from Hyles-Anderson College he founded and pastored the Lighthouse Baptist Church of Bessemer, Pennsylvania for seven years. Along the way he met and married Mandy, and the Lord has blessed their home with four children. In the spring of 2004 he accepted the pastorate of the Maplewood Bible Baptist Church. He can be found blogging here, at Concerning Jesus. He is the author of two books, one about the Sermon on the Mount and the other about the independent Baptist movement. You can find out more about the books here, at Brennan's Pen.
